JJ is a true Mustang from the west, but don’t let that get in the way of seeing all his amazing talent. He stands 13.2 and is packed full of talent. From his incredible stop to jumping and roping, JJ has been ready and willing to please in anything we have asked him to do. JJ is a very athletic mover, light on his feet and smooth in all gaits. We have used him all over on the farm and taken him to town to see the sights. JJ has been hauled here and there to practice roping pens and rodeos and handles all the commotion and chaos like a champ. He is light in your hands and on your leg, giving to the bridle and easily moves shoulders, hips and side passes. Out on the trail JJ has crossed rivers and streams, tread through the mud, climbed up and down hills and crossed over logs. He is easy going whether he’s in the front of a group, in the middle or brining up the rear.JJ loads great and hauls well. He has been hauled to several over night camping trips and stands quiet at the hitching rail. We have rode JJ many miles in both English and western tack. Here at the farm, JJ lives out on a lot with a couple other horses. He is not a bully to other horses but also not on the bottom of the pecking order. He is a super easy keeper and requires no maintenance. He is easy to catch outside and when stalled, JJ is very mannerly and easy going. In and out of the arena JJ has easy gaits, smooth transitions and he guides well on a neck rein. JJ has been my go to ride most of this year, and I’m sure that once you swing a leg over him you’ll understand why.
