Salem wurde Hunderte von Trail-Meilen geritten und er hat in mehreren Staaten gezeltet, sowohl auf dem Knott County und Booneville Trail Rides hier in Kentucky mit Hunderten von anderen Reitern geritten. Salem ist sanft und sicher für fast jeden Reiter. Er läuft am lockeren Zügel oder geht, wenn man ihn darum bittet. Er hat einen natürlichen Laufgang, der sehr angenehm zu reiten ist! Salem hat viel Erfahrung und war in mehreren Staaten auf Campingplätzen und in vielen Nationalwäldern unterwegs. Er ist um landwirtschaftliche Geräte, ATVs und über große, laute Planen geritten und hat auch schon Gewehre von seinem Rücken geschossen bekommen. Auf den Trails ist er immer großartig! Salem ist mit allen Arten von Wildtieren wie Rehen, Truthähnen oder anderen Tieren wie Kühen oder Hunden in Berührung gekommen und geht überall hin, wo man ihn hinschickt. Er ist viele Meilen in den Bergen von Ost-Kentucky geritten und hat dabei alle möglichen Hindernisse auf dem Trail überwunden. Er geht selbst die steilsten Hänge hinauf oder hinunter, durchquert tiefe Bäche, überquert umgestürzte Bäume und überwindet alle Arten von unwegsamem Gelände und ist dabei immer noch trittsicher. Er wurde im Straßenverkehr geführt und ist sehr verkehrssicher im Umgang mit Autos, Sattelschleppern, Baumstämmen und Kippern. Salem ist sein Gewicht in Gold wert! Salem has been ridden hundreds of trail miles and he has been camping in several states, ridden on both the Knott County and Booneville trail rides here in Kentucky with hundreds of other riders. Salem is gentle and safe for most any rider. He will flatfoot walk on a loose rein or he will move on out when asked. He has a natural runwalking gait that is smooth to ride! Salem has lots of experience and has been camping in multiple states and been ridden in many national forest. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. On the trails he is always great! Salem has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
