Letty sucht ein neues Zuhause

My beloved, affectionate Lewitzer mare Eisfee (nickname Letty) is looking for a new home.  
She is 18 years old and stands 1.39 meters tall. She was previously driven in a carriage (which I have never tried) and had a beautiful stallion foal in 2019. She is registered in the Studbook I. Unfortunately, I don’t know much more about her past.  

I took her in about 1.5 years ago with the idea of training her as a riding horse. I also hired a trainer, and we have done a lot of groundwork and lunging. She is familiar with rider weight and carries a rider well in walk when led. However, she becomes a bit unsure when the person leading her steps away. She was intended to become a Western pony, as I believe she is better suited for a relaxed riding style. As soon as I pick up the reins, she resists.  

Unfortunately, I have to admit that we are not the right match, as I am not the most confident rider myself. Additionally, I am now too heavy for her.  

If someone can provide her with the confidence she needs, I am sure everything can be worked out well. She is a treasure on the ground and follows every step. With clear instructions, liberty work also works wonderfully.  

She is a wonderful pony all around, and everyone loves her.  
She is well-behaved for the farrier (she is barefoot), veterinarian, and loading. No problems there. Her teeth were recently checked in September. Deworming was done last week. We started osteopathy treatment in the summer, and there were no negative issues. Currently, she has a slight lameness due to a strain, but it is already almost gone.  

I will only rehome her with a protection contract, to the best possible hands. She also prefers a pasture with an open stall.
