As a foal, this attractive Rocky mare was imported. She has a very gentle, soft character and an especially good natural gaits disposition (she demonstrates both a clear, flowing natural tölt and very good basic gaits in the pasture). She is familiar with both small-group paddock turnout and stable life with daily turnout in a paddock, and she feels comfortable in both management systems. In our herd, she ranks in the middle. She has been well acquainted with various ground manners—everything necessary for daily handling—as well as desensitization exercises with tarps, umbrellas, balls, and more. Over the past 1.5 months, she has been in training, where basic groundwork under saddle and longeing, as well as being lunged as a hand horse in the arena, riding ring, and on the trail, have been practiced. Jonge, mooie Rockystute geïmporteerd als jaarling, met een zeer vriendelijk, zacht karakter en een bijzonder goede gangveranlaging (ze toont zowel een taktvaste, vloeiende naturel Tölt als zeer goede basisgangen op de wei). Ze kent zowel omgang in een kleine groep in de paddock als een box met dagelijks buiten lopen en voelt zich in beide huisvestingsvormen op haar gemak. In onze kudde staat ze in het midden van de rangorde. Ze is goed bekendgemaakt met verschillende omgangsituaties – alles wat nodig is voor het dagelijks contact, evenals diverse desensibilisatieoefeningen met zeilen, paraplu’s, ballen en meer. De afgelopen 1,5 maand is ze onder het zadel gereden, waarbij gewerkt is aan de eerste basis onder het zadel, maar ook aan longeerlijnen, dubbel longeeren en het lopen als handpaard in de hal, op de rijbaan en in het terrein. Ze was daarbij altijd gemotiveerd en zeer positief. Sinds kort is ze weer thuis en is ze klaar om samen met haar vertrouwenspersoon de volgende stappen te zetten.
