Snotra ist eine freundliche und höfliche junge Stute mit einem eher ruhigen bis mittleren Temperament, die in unsicheren Situationen einen ruhigen und erfahrenen Reiter braucht. Hat sie Vertrauen zu ihrem Reiter macht sie alles mit. Aufgrund ihres Alters und Ausbildungstandes ist sie kein Kinder oder Anfängerpferd. Gut vorstellen könnte ich sie mir auch für einen erfahrenen Jugendlichen. Snotra ist eine 6 jährige Stute, die 2018 in Island geboren wurde. Seit über 3 Jahren lebt sie in Deutschland, ohne jegliche Anzeichen von Ekzem. Mit ihren 1,36 m gehört sie eher zu den etwas kleineren Isländern, deckt dies aber gut ab. Sie wurde letztes Jahr schonend von mir angeritten und kennt die Arbeit in der Halle sowie Ausritte im Gelände, alleine, zu zweit oder in der Gruppe. Sehr gerne geht sie dort auch als Handpferd mit. Bisher wurde sie nur 4-gängig geritten mit viel leicht zu reitenden Tölt im langsamen bis mittleren Tempo. Galopp in der Halle ist noch eine Kraftfrage, stellt aber bergauf im Gelände keine Probleme dar. Sie ist Schmiede und Verladefromm, regelmäßig geimpft und entwurmt.
