Atlas is a 3-year-old Icelandic stallion whom I am very sadly offering for sale due to changes in my studies and life plans.

I bought Atlas as a foal with the intention of eventually importing him to Norway, training him as a riding horse, competing with him and potentially using him for breeding. Unfortunately, my circumstances have changed and I will still be studying for several more years, which means I am no longer financially able to follow through with those plans.

Atlas was halter and lead trained as a foal and has shown nice movement and a good temperament. He is currently unstarted and has been allowed to grow up in Iceland. He also has one blue eye.

He has an interesting pedigree for someone interested in breeding, but could equally be developed as a future riding and competition horse. 

This is a very reluctant sale and is entirely due to my circumstances, not because of anything wrong with Atlas.

Because I need to find him a new home as soon as possible, he is offered at a low and negotiable price. Finding him a good, permanent home is much more important to me than achieving the highest possible price.
