Ursprünglich hatten wir vor, eine Hobbyzucht aufzubauen, haben uns inzwischen jedoch umentschieden. Aus diesem Grund sucht unser Isländerhengst Nemo nun ein passendes neues Zuhause. Nemo, geb. am 04.05.2023, ist seit zwei Jahren bei uns, kräftig gebaut und entwickelt sich altersgemäß sehr gut. Er ist ein Rapp-Mehrfachschecke mit strahlend blauen Augen. Im Umgang zeigt sich Nemo sehr menschenbezogen, lieb und unkompliziert. Er sucht aktiv den Kontakt zum Menschen, kommt zuverlässig, wenn man ihn ruft, und ist halfterführig. Der Schmied wird regelmäßig alle 8–12 Wochen vorgestellt, die Hufpflege ist für ihn problemlos. Auch Tierarztbesuche verlaufen ruhig und entspannt. Nemo ist vollständig geimpft und erhält regelmäßig Mineralfutter sowie Fohlenmüsli. Im Sommer stand er 24 Stunden auf der Weide, was er sehr gut verträgt. Aktuell wird er rund um die Uhr mit Heu versorgt. Auf Wunsch kann Nemo gegen Kostenübernahme bei uns auf dem Hof kastriert werden. Bisher hatte Nemo noch keinen Kontakt zu Stuten. Wir wünschen uns für Nemo ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem er weiterhin altersgerecht gefördert wird.

In handling, Nemo is very personable, affectionate, and uncomplicated. He actively seeks human contact, reliably comes when called, and is halter-trained. The farrier is scheduled every 8 to 12 weeks, and hoof care is no problem for him. Veterinary visits are also calm and relaxed. Nemo is fully vaccinated and regularly receives mineral feed and foal muesli. During the summer, he was on pasture 24 hours a day, which he tolerated very well. Currently, he is being fed hay around the clock. Upon request, Nemo can be gelded at our farm at the owner’s expense. So far, Nemo has not had any contact with mares. We wish for Nemo to find a loving home where he will continue to be supported appropriately for his age.
