This 5 year old Haflinger Quarter Horse cross gelding stands 14.3 hands tall and combines a great handle, real world experience, and a willing nature into one package. In the arena, Charlie is exceptionally well broke and responsive. He neck reins with ease, rides off your leg, and is soft and willing in all aspects of his work. He will trot around with a headset or a loose rein. His lope is smooth and comfortable, making him a horse you can sit on for hours, and he has a nice stop when asked. Charlie side passes to open and close gates, has sorted cattle, and has had a rope swung off of him. He is the type of horse that is willing to try whatever is asked of him and does so with a great attitude.
Whether your goal is ranch riding, local shows, trail riding, or simply having a dependable partner to enjoy, Charlie has the foundation and temperament to fit a variety of riders. He also travels nicely in English tack and looks just as comfortable in an English saddle as he does in a western one.

He loads and hauls well, stands tied quietly, and has the good ground manners that make everyday handling easy.
