Perry is a gorgeous 4 year old dapple grey draft cross gelding standing a solid 15.3 hands. His unique coloring and eye-catching presence turn heads everywhere he goes, and his quiet, confident demeanor makes him a joy to be around. Even though he is still young, Perry carries himself like a seasoned veteran. He rides with the kind of maturity and steadiness you normally only find in older horses.
Under saddle, Perry is soft in the bridle, willing to learn, and extremely broke. He neck reins easily and stays light in the bridle, trotting around with an easy headset. His lope is smooth and balanced, and he catches both leads easily making him comfortable for long rides in the arena or out on the trail. Whether you prefer to ride in a saddle or bareback, Perry is equally steady and sure footed.
This gelding has also been exposed to plenty of real world experiences that show off his versatility. He has been roped off of and will confidently drag a calf. He has carried the American flag with confidence. Out on the trail, Perry is the kind of horse you can count on. he moves through water, brush, and all kinds of rough terrain without a second thought. He is not spooky and stays level headed in new places and around new sights and sounds.
Around the barn and in the pasture, Perry is easy to care for and easy to get along with.
