(Geändertes Inserat: Rasse nicht mehr gültig) Mani, unser 7-jähriger Tinker-Welsh-Mix-Wallach (Jahrgang 2019), sucht ein neues, liebevolles Zuhause. Mani ist ein neugieriges, gewitztes und bewegungsfreudiges Freizeitpony, das gerne beschäftigt wird und sich über neue Aufgaben freut. Er mag andere Pferde und Ponys sehr und fühlt sich in Gesellschaft besonders wohl. Auf dem Platz lässt er sich gut longieren und reiten. Dabei findet er kleine Hindernisse und Denkaufgaben besonders spannend. Seine Gangarten sind angenehm und bequem, sodass er auch für gemütliche Ritte viel Freude mitbringt. Im Gelände ist Mani sehr sicher. In der Gruppe geht er gerne auch einmal an der Spitze und zeigt sich dort souverän. Alleine im Gelände braucht er hingegen einen erfahrenen Reiter, der ihm mit klarer und konsequenter Führung die nötige Sicherheit gibt. Mit einem solchen Reiter funktionieren sowohl Spaziergänge als auch Ausritte sehr gut. Auch im täglichen Umgang ist Mani unkompliziert: Er ist verlade- und schmiedefromm, sehr pflegeleicht und mag es auch, im Sommer abgeduscht zu werden. Er freut sich über Bewegung, Abwechslung und Menschen, die Freude daran haben, gemeinsam mit ihm Neues zu entdecken. Gesundheitlich gibt es aktuell Folgendes zu beachten: Mani neigt zu leichter Mauke. Mit regelmässigem Scheren & Reinigen der Hinterbeine und der Behandlung mit Zinksalbe haben wir dies jedoch gut und stabil im Griff. Für Mani wünschen wir uns eine erfahrene, liebevolle Person, die ihm viel Liebe, Sicherheit sowie Abwechslung bieten kann und bereit ist, ihn während seiner Genesung geduldig zu begleiten. Ein Zuhause, in dem er weiterhin Pferde- oder Ponygesellschaft hat, wäre für ihn besonders schön. Da wir unseren Bestand leider verkleinern müssen, suchen wir schweren Herzens diesen neuen Platz für ihn. Wir wünschen uns für Mani den passenden Menschen für sein weiteres Leben. ❤️ Platz vor Preis! Mani, our 7-year-old Welsh Tinker cross gelding (born 2019), is looking for a new, loving home. Mani is a curious, clever, and energetic leisure pony who enjoys being busy and welcomes new challenges. He gets along very well with other horses and ponies and feels especially comfortable in company. In the arena, he is easy to lunge and ride. He finds small jumps and mental exercises particularly stimulating. His gaits are smooth and comfortable, making him a pleasure for relaxed rides as well. Out in the field, Mani is very confident. He often takes the lead in a group and shows himself to be very reliable there. When ridden alone, he requires an experienced rider who can provide clear and consistent guidance to ensure his safety. With such a rider, both walks and rides in the open work very well. Mani is also straightforward in daily handling: he is load-friendly and farrier-friendly, very easy to care for, and enjoys being rinsed off in summer. He appreciates movement, variety, and people who love discovering new things together with him. Health-wise, there are currently a few points to note: During a veterinary examination last May, the flexion test on his right hind leg was unfortunately performed a bit too intensively. Since then, Mani has a strain in that leg, which is currently healing. At the moment, he mostly enjoys nice walks with us. He also loves gentle rides in walk. Over time, we can gradually reintroduce trotting and cantering. He is generally a very active pony but is being rested appropriately during his recovery. X-ray and ultrasound images from July and August are available for review upon request. Mani also tends to develop mud fever. We manage this well and keep it stable by regular trimming and cleaning of the hind legs and treating with zinc ointment. We are looking for an experienced, caring person for Mani who can offer him plenty of love, security, and variety, and who is willing to patiently support him during his recovery. A home where he can continue to have horse or pony companionship would be especially ideal. Due to the need to downsize our herd, we are sadly seeking a new home for him.
