The most incredible little gelding donkey that you will find is our Mr Capone! He is the absolute coolest donkey I have ever been around, from his personality to his cool ride. He is safe for anyone, from your 18-month-old baby to your 80-year-old grandma! Mr Capone is finished under saddle and even rides English. He was shown in driving classes as a 2 and 3 year old, but hasn't been driven much since. He has been shown a lot in the 4H walk-trot western pleasure classes where he excelled! This donkey will absolutely steal your heart, without a doubt.
Mr. Capone is seasoned on the trails where he has no problem crossing logs or water. He is also happy to ride out alone or with the group. He rides as well inside as he does outside. He is used to going through the obstacles such as the bridge or playing with the ball, he will even carry a flag! Mr Capone stands quietly to be groomed and tacked, he bridles easily and loves to have his ears rubbed. He is seasoned, safe, and very much in the prime of his life. He also loads easily and hauls well. Mr. Capone is not a racehorse by any means and has no desire to take you anywhere fast; but he is the utmost pleasure to ride and enjoyable to be around.
Mr Capone is easy to catch, does well stalled or pastured. He gets along well with pasture mates and is an overall easy keeper. Mr Capone even does well with small animals. He will put his nose all the way to the ground to make a new friend with any little dog. He is an absolute honest gentleman no matter what you are asking of him. We lightly jumped him under English tack but have mostly ridden him in western tack. He is perfect in a walk or trot. He keeps his head low just like a western pleasure horse is trained to. We think the absolute world of this donkey and know that whoever gets him will adore everything about him. He has the most loyal heart of gold!
